This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your poster board & presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Write a Personal Narrative Essay in response to the writing prompt: write about a time when your individualism had a dramatic/traumatic impact on your personal society. In your essay answer this question: Were either you or your personal society made better because of your actions and were either you or your personal society negatively impacted because of your actions.

You will be conducting research about a chosen poet and three of his or her poems. This research will be presented in an informative speech including a well researched biography, the poems, and an PowerPoint presentation.

Writing rubric for a narrative composition

Students choose a topic, follow the research process and create a multimedia presentation.

As I listen to the speech, I will circle the number for each category (Introdcution, content, delivery, conclusion, and overall) that I think best describes how that part of the speech went. After I will add up you numbers and write the total score.
