Create a menu. You must give your restaurant a name and create the menu. The menu should include at least five complete choices for each of the sections of the menu: appetizers, entrees, kids menu and desserts. Students will compose a speech as one of the characters from one of the epics that we are studying (Beowulf, The Iliad, and The Odyssey). Student’s speeches must have a theme or focus that is relevant to the epic they choose. Themes must be reinforced throughout the speech and the climax of the speech must be both intriguing and thought provoking. Students will be graded on theme, theme reinforcing methods, and the strength of the climax of the speech.

Make at least five pictures or scenes. Include your vocabulary words. Include at least 5. Make sure that your pictures and actions make sense with your chosen vocabulary words.

The routine needs to have two different, but noticeable, movement sections and a tableau pose for the ending. Students will apply the creative process to the composition of movement pieces, using the elements of exercise and music to communicate feelings (facial expression) and ideas.
