This rubric is used for a graduate course in Leadership in Technology

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Prezi presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the Prezi presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint/prezi have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

A one page summary and critique of an article concerning leadership. Using the example rubric for article critiques as a guide and this area specific grades rubric, provide a critical review of the article and illustrate how the article supports the course learning outcomes. Your critique should demonstrate critical thinking and a comprehensive analysis of the article.

A one page summary and critique of an article concerning a current leadership trend or issue. Students are required to find, read an article, summarize the key parts of the article as well as critique the article read.

Respond to a leadership based article. Include the major ideas presented by the author, significant facts to support the main ideas(s) presented, and your organized and well developed response to these ideas and facts.

The student will create a short video using Stop Motion techniques. Stop motion (also known as stop frame) is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. Stop motion animation using plasticine is called clay animation or Claymation.

The student will create a short clip using Stop Motion techniques.

Students choose a movie from a choice presented by the instructor and then writes a report to develop the leadership theme presented.

Create a digital storybook using PowerPoint. Story must be created for the younger audience (2-10). Story must be 15-20 slides.

LEADERSHIP PROFILE PAPER Research a prominent leader either past or present. i) 1 page description of the person, role, leadership style ii) 1 page description and analysis of the leadership context, power Due: iii) 4 page synthesis of your understanding of how specific leadership theories and concepts relate to your leader. iv) Final Paper: minimum 6 pages of your text, plus a title sheet and bibliographic references cited page in MLA Due: December 21st.
