Brass Station Activity
Objective: Students will describe the characteristics of the four main brass instruments through a station activity. Directions for each station: 1. Write down the instrument featured for the station. 2. Have one member read the passage about the instrument aloud. 3. As a group, discuss the reading and answer the questions on your sheet. Each person should individually write their responses on their own paper. 4. Look at the instrument. Touch the instrument carefully. Do NOT actually put your mouth on the mouthpiece! 5. Write down any comments or questions you have. 6. Repeat steps 1-5 for the next 3 stations. 7. Self assess on the rubric below and complete your habits of daily learning checklist. In the comments section of the rubric: Describe how did your group worked together.

Science Project : Model and Presentation
