This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your PowerPoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

The process of Mitosis is essential in evently dividing the genetic materials between the daughter cells. In this hands on activity you are going to create a model of mitosis using different materials provide by your teacher. Make sure to include all the phases of mitosis.

Use the "Lab Report Format" to create your lab report. Each of the nine sections in the checklist will be evaluated to compile an overall 100% Task grade for each lab report. Use this rubric to help you critique your lab report so that you may get the highest score possible.

This rubric will assess fiction book project. The students will read and choose a selected book. They are then to complete a final presentation which will include a newspaper layout and written work about the book. In addition, they will be presenting this presentation orally.

The teacher will ask the students to take out their journals and respond to the following prompt: In 6-8 sentences describe what you did over the weekend, and include at least 3-4 examples of personification.

After reading and analyzing the play, "Montana Jones and the Gymnasium of Doom" you should have a good idea of the textual structure of a play. You will write a play based upon your life. You may make up the actions if need be. Be sure to include all of the elements of a play.

Throughout the history of this great country, many people have fought for every citizen to have “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” As a result of their willingness to sacrifice their lives, time, and energy into protecting our America, we are able to enjoy freedoms that many people may never experience. In a three paragraph essay, explain why you are proud to be an American. Cite examples from specific historical events to strengthen the message within your essay.
