You are creating restaurant for a new restaurant in France. You must give your restaurant a name (in French) create the menu entirely in French, and create a virtual restaurant using Google Sketchup, or something similar. Your restaurant must have a dialogue of french speaking customers and visuals of labeled French food.

Students are selecting an animal, researching their animal and designing a poster board to aid them in their presentation. The presentation should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, the life cycle of the animal, and what is special about this animal. Students may use index cards to help them remember the facts about their animal during their presentation. Students will be given class time to work on project. DUE DATE: DECEMBER 9

Students will writing about their animal, and design a presentation to aid them when sharing the traits of their animal. The presentation should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, what special adaptations allow the animal to survive in it's native habitat, and why they choose the animal. Students should be prepared to answer questions about their animal from their peers.

Students will research two specific animals for classification. (1) One animal will be either a mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird, or fish. (2) The other animal will be a mollusk, insect, arthropod, or worm. Students will list their animals' classifications (KPCOFGS) and characteristics along with a at least one picture of each animal, on one piece of construction paper. Half should pertain to one animal & the other half should pertain to the other animal and can be diagonal, horizontal, or vertical. Please be sure to include all information required including whether the animal is an invertebrate or a vertebrate. You also need at least 5 additional characteristics of the animal. Use your study guide & other resources. The project is DUE ON Friday, May 4. Late projects will lose 10 points daily. There will be no projects accepted after Wednesday, May 9. Do your best & make sure that the poster is appealing.

Students will construct a diorama/detailed picture to represent their animal's zoo enclosure. The animal is to be in French only. Students are required to present either to the class or personally to me with a short 3-5 sentence presentation. DUE DATE: December 18th.
