Rubric For Earth’s Geologic Time Scale
The objective of this assignment is for students to research and illustrate the timeline of the Earth’s geologic time scale over the last 4.6 billion years. Students are expected to make a timeline of events in an assigned category. Include the names of the eons, eras and periods for the main Geologic category. All others must show only the timeline divided into 100 million year segments and include at least 10 key events in each category with brief description and illustrations.
