Poster Presentation Rubric
The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the teacher. The poster will be designed on chart paper. The students are required to present their poster to the class and teacher.

Class Blog Project
Over the course of term 3 students are assigned to create a class blog. The topics and content of the posts have been chosen by the students but evidence of sources to support the information should be present and cited appropriately. Each student should write an individual blog post, comment and reply thoughtfully and respectfully in a timely manner. In addition to individual blog posts, students are put into teams to maintain the overall quality of the blog.

Poetry Project
Create a collection that includes a min. 5 poems. Use the following: haiku, acrostic, narrative, limerick and cinquain. Include an art form that best represents each poem. Include a description of how each poem could be used in unit. Identify in each the poetic devices: metaphor, simile, personification, allusion rhyme, alliteration, assonance, rhyme, repetition and onomatopoeia to be taught in lesson. Collection may be presented in book or digital format.

Students will give a presentation on a saint of their choice.
