Students use the imperfect tense to describe life on a farm when they were younger/little.

Students will create a skit based on a children's story of their choice. Each group member must have 10 FULL sentences or more to memorize, but should not have more than 12 lines to remember (time constraints).

For vocabulary or spelling, use with fill in the blanks (reading and writing) and or sentence construction.

Family and activities

Students will research one French-Speaking country. Students will then prepare an oral presentation in which they will discuss the tourism for their given states. Each student will need to prepare note cards that have the following information: The source where you obtained the information, the author of that source, and the information from the source. The student will be graded on three criteria, These criteria are eye contact, vocal projection, knowledge of the topic.

While studying the role food plays in French culture students will create a simple brochure that highlights three courses, breakfast, lunch and dinner in two different French regions with which it is associated. The brochure will include a description of a typical family meal using each meal of the day. The description will be placed on the front of the brochure to include pictures in the background.

You will design a menu for a new restaurant. You must give your restaurant a name (in French) and create the menu headers and titles entirely in French. The menu should include at least five sections: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a list of six or more beverages and six or more desserts. Be sure to use vocabulary we have learned in class. The menu should be visually pleasing with with easily identifiable headings, prices, and graphics/color pictures.

A rubric for French Speaking in a presentation or oral test

Using the French/English dictionary look up the following 20 words. Identify what part of speech it is. If it is a noun indicate whether it is masculine or feminine. Also use the word in a sentence to give meaning.
