The students/group will put together content and present information on a select medication or category of medications highlighting specific information important for nursing care and management

Group/individual project on an assigned course competency related topic

The patient's clinical condition including physiology and etiology of the condition, as well as discussion of diagnostics, nursing assessments (subjective & objective), medical management, nursing diagnosis and planning and nursing interventions & special consideration. Rationales for nursing interventions should be explained and discussed. A power point presentation is to be prepared and presented to the class. References that may be used: Text, workbook and classroom handouts.

Primary Objective: Become familiar with a specific disorder and convey that information in a visually-attractive and informative tri-fold brochure.
