Create an aphorism poster which describes aphorisms originally created by Morrie Schwartz. An aphorism is a brief, cleverly worded statement, which makes a wise observation about life.

The students will put together a animation/video to show during their oral presentation. The animation/video will contain information that the students collected regarding Shakespeare's Act II of the Merchant of Venice. The partner presentation must cover all aspects of the scene assigned in a concise and succinct manner.

Students will fill a Tic-Tac-Toe Project Novel Study project. Three different creative projects must be completed using new and unfamiliar technology. Connection with the novel must be shown and summarization skills must be demonstrated.

This summative final project will allow students to explore their creativity and imagination. The magazine will include images, a video, audio and text. On each content page of the magazine, there will be an image or video about the topic, also have a paragraph about the topic and there will be a student recording, explaining each page of the magazine. This magazine will use multiple technologies and accommodate a variety of users.

This essay will be used to grade scholarship essays, college admittance essays, career-oriented essays and military recruitment essays. The Priority Standard associated with this Essay is EXJ 602 or the student will generate insightful reasons for a position by examining different perspectives. The Priority Standard ORI or the student will provide a unified, coherent organization structure that presents a logical progression of ideas will also be accessed.

Write a Personal Narrative Essay about an important, life-changing event from your life. Describe your memorable event in chronological order. Use the literary element flashback as an introduction technique. Include reactions in your personal narrative such as dialogue and emotions. Include a reflection in your essay on what you learned from this experience. Your personal narrative should be a five paragraph essay with an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion.

Students will provide concise answers to content-based questions about the unit. They will follow the format provided and use examples for support.
