Regular attendance and active class participation are expected from all students in this class. This rubric will be used to assess your performance in this area.

Students will create either a Diarama or poster display of their imaginary salon or Barber shop. They will incorporate Florida Sanitation and Building code laws either in the diplay or notebook.

On Mannequin Heads students will demonstrate prior learning as a final exam in the cosmetology classroom. Each completed demonstration is worth 20 points.

Students will be able to show professional work ethics, attitude and attire. Students will be advised of job possibilities in both the cosmetology and barbering professions.

There are 2 Components: 1.You will research the topic showing a time line, analyze the impact your chosen era had on hair you colouring 2. You will present your research and your analysis to the class. Be prepared to answer a question from the class or the teacher(s). You will create your own story board and you will show visual examples of the contributions still used in cosmetology. A written copy of presentation must be submitted into turnitin prior to due date.

This exercise is to evaluate the student on colour bottle application.

The students will demonstrate virgin tint to darken and a tint retouch on a maniquinn with mock product.
