Analysis of a Ballad

Students will create a set for the play, A Midsummer Night's Dream, using a theme of their choice. The set will be mapped out for each scene.

Students will create a poster representing their assigned Act and scenes from the Shakespeare play "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Poetry PowerPoint: A Booklet of Poem and Literary Devices

Write a persuasive argument using one of the given prompts. The persuasive essay must contain at least 3 fully developed supporting paragraphs. The paper must include proper sources and MLA citations.

Research the approved topic. Submit one 4 page minimum, typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a Works Cited page citing at least 5 resources, 3 from the school database, used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and citations (both in-text and Works Cited page).

An outline for your informative speech with the topic picked by the students. The outline should reflect the content of the speech and be set up with proper form. This should include 2 primary and 2 secondary resources cited in-text and with a Works Cited in MLA 7th Edition format.
