Music History Research Paper
Research one of the composers and the time period they composed during from our choir selections. Submit one 6-9 Paragraph paper, typed, and double spaced. Include a works cited page with at least 3 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

"We Shall Overcome"
Students will create two verses for the song, "We Shall Overcome". Following the established pattern, the verse will contain a correctly-spelled verse, with 3-5 words using exactly five syllables (like, 'we are not a-fraid'). Verse must be relevant to the song, and students must explain why they chose the lyrics they did. Students will then perform their new verse either as a soloist,with the harmonies previously taught, or an original adaptation
