LSM Rubric: Performance Expectations - Textual Analysis

Of Mice & Men Closing Argument
For this project, you will take on the role of a lawyer either defending or prosecuting a character in OMaM for responsibility in the death of Lennie Smalls. Using your knowledge of the novel, the three types of appeal (ethos, pathos, and logos), and the cultural context of the Great Depression, compose and deliver the closing argument of that trial. Your product must incorporate roots/found vocabulary and be either recorded on video, recorded on audio, or delivered live.
