Students will research about the origins, history and celebration of El Dia de los muertos and will create a presentation.

Research project on a a notable Hispanic/Latino American individual or Hispanic Country . You will either create an online video with narration using adobe spark or create a digital poster on smore. These will be displayed on the announcements or on the walls around the school.

Students will create an electronic presentation of their family tree. Students must describe each family member , talk about their likes and dislikes , and what they do in their spare time. Students will have illustrations and an introduction of their family tree. This is a test grade.

Spanish 2 story telling using the preterite and the imperfect tenses.

Groups will create a video illustrating the correct uses of the preterite tense in Spanish. All members must participate in this video creation. Each group will have 2 days to brainstorm their ideas on paper, and get any song approvals before filming. Utilize your creative side to make this project fun! All members of the group will fill out an evaluation for each group member, so make sure everyone is working together!

Scripts due on 3/16/11 and final project due on 3/22/11.

Partner- assessment

Students compose a mini-story about themselves. Included should be name, birthday, physical characteristics, likes and dislikes, family/friends, hobbies, interests, vacation/career/or life plans. These sentences are to be typed in Spanish and submitted in the form of a booklet or power point presentation. Rough draft must be submitted in advance. Color illustrations, drawings or clip-art should be shown, relating to the sentences. Use of an on-line translator results in a zero score for the project.

Student will create a poem, letter, Card or song about love. This is a test grade. Rough Draft thursday Feb 16th. Final draft Due Friday Feb. 17th. Students will recite or perform on Monday.

You and a partner will create a Spanish game that covers what we've seen and done this year! It must include 50 questions and answers in Spanish that range from easy to complex, and you MUST be able to answer them all for your game. ALL games are due January 17th. Get creative with the rest and have fun! You will need to provide the following: 50 questions with an answer key Directions Game board Game pieces Answer key
