Students will perform a rehearsed and analyzed scene for an audience.

Summative Project: Create a "vision board" that represents the dream you have for your life. The vision board will be created using the resources provided by your teacher. This vision board should include all the items detailed by your teacher's instructions. You will present the vision board to the class. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

The Dramatic interpretation of scenes from either A Midsummer Night's Dream or Antigone. Students will use their creativity, organization and communication skills to present their version of their chosen scene to the class. incorporate their understanding what words and phrases mean by how they are used in the text; use context clues and reference material to understand the meanings of words in texts studied.

Students will prepare a selection from Romeo & Juliet to present to the class. The presentation should include an introduction to and a dramatic reading of the selection.

Students a presentation making their devices/literary devices human or personified to discuss how the literary device is used in a book. The dialogue should also share an explanation or definition of the literary device.

Students will create a devised theatre piece from the inspirations found in a painting provided by the instructor. The piece will be no longer than 5 minutes in length. Everyone must perform and have a communicating role. Students will practice all elements learned this semester - Pantomime, The Voice, Tools of Interpretation (intention and obstacle), Empathy Toward others using Reservations and Attractions and Point of Concentration.

This rubric will evaluate the participation of a student based on preparedness, behavior, attitude, accountability for actions and social interaction. At the end of the final exam student will honestly 'grade' themselves based on the points of each criterion. Students have been using reservations and attractions on a regular basis this semester and they understand the expectations of participation and behavior in the theatre classroom.

This rubric is how the essays that the Peer Tutor's are required to write will be graded.

Competency Project: Create a "vision board" that represents the goals you have for the next 5 to 10 years. The vision board will be created using the materials listed by your teacher. This vision board should include all the items detailed by your teacher's instructions. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

Write a five-paragraph essay (minimum 750 words) analyzing one character from the play. Discuss three of the characters’ traits giving textual support for your assertions. Incorporate transitional phrases at the beginning of each new paragraph. Use MLA Essay formatting for the essay and the quote citations.

You will be trying to "walk in the shoes" of someone from a different religion. You will be finding out and presenting what your religion is like to others to our class through a ppt or keynote presentation. Keep these elements in mind: • Historical background information • Basic belief system (one god, many gods, etc.) • Sacred texts • Key leaders • Sacred spaces and places • Rituals, services, or ceremonies • Symbolism • Holidays, festivals and celebrations
