Devised Theatre Performance Rubric
Students will create a devised theatre piece from the inspirations found in a painting provided by the instructor. The piece will be no longer than 5 minutes in length. Everyone must perform and have a communicating role. Students will practice all elements learned this semester - Pantomime, The Voice, Tools of Interpretation (intention and obstacle), Empathy Toward others using Reservations and Attractions and Point of Concentration.

Devised Theatre Participation Rubric
This rubric will evaluate the participation of a student based on preparedness, behavior, attitude, accountability for actions and social interaction. At the end of the final exam student will honestly 'grade' themselves based on the points of each criterion. Students have been using reservations and attractions on a regular basis this semester and they understand the expectations of participation and behavior in the theatre classroom.

Write a five-paragraph essay (minimum 750 words) analyzing one character from the play. Discuss three of the characters’ traits giving textual support for your assertions. Incorporate transitional phrases at the beginning of each new paragraph. Use MLA Essay formatting for the essay and the quote citations.
