This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Research the approved topic. Submit one 4-6 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following APA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 5 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and cited sources.

Students will provide concise answers to content-based questions about the lesson. They will follow the format provided and use examples for support.

This assignment will be of your choosing, for example you may choose a position paper, a comparison contrast, or reflective analysis of any issue that is related to terrorism/homeland security. But, whatever assignment you choose must correspond to at least one of the course outcomes (1-6). This assignment must be between 3-5 pages and contain at least 3 credible references (100 pts.) Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the thesis, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.
