Poster rubric
The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

3-Day Meal Plan
Your job is to create a 3-day healthy meal and snack plan for teens at a fictional resort. You will plan each breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as all snacks and beverages so that your food intake for the day meets Health Canada’s daily recommended number of servings for each food group. Each day of your meal plan must include: a) Three meals, two or three snacks, and drinks b) Serving sizes for each item to eat or drink c) Daily total number of servings for each food group (make sure this matches the recommendations from the current Canada Food Guide for a person your age)

Poetry Unit comparison

Homework Rubric
Every week, homework will be graded by this rubric. Homework is done on a 4pt scale and coupled with quizzes and project, accounts for 20% of the final grade. Homework is important for practice and learning. I ask that students keep graded homework in a binder or folder, make corrections, ask questions, and not fall behind on assignments.
