Nervous System and Brain
Students are to draw/trace a diagram of the Nervous system and the brain. Include all major components in their diagram, to include at minimum the 24 primary components of the main system and 9 labels for the brain as given on the examples in Google Classroom. Neatly labeling each aspect of the diagram in order to clearly communicate this idea. Be sure the diagram is in finished form and accompanied by a description and the functions of each of the components included in the system.

Oral Presentation for Civil War and Reconstruction
Oral communication takes many forms. This rubric is specifically designed to evaluate oral presentations of a single speaker at a time. An oral answer to a single question not designed to be structured into a presentation does not readily apply to this rubric.

Civil War Presentation
The assigned topic in a 5-10 minute presentation. Students are free to use any method they wish for the presentation, but the more creative, the higher the grade will be. Some examples are: Power Point presentation, SMART Board Presentation, video interview, etc... Students are also to hand in a paper with their name and a one-paragraph summery of their presentation.

This is a lesson plan focusing on technology integration in classroom instruction with lesson planning elements appropriately aligned. Each student will create each segment of an instructional lesson unit for use in classroom instruction. This is worth a total of 50 points.

Develop a presentation to share the most important information about your section of the text to the class through an interactive, engaging presentation. You must use technology in some way, include vocabulary, and have the class do some kind of activity and answer key associated with your section. You must also creat a quiz for your section, complete with answer key for grading the quiz.

Impromptu Informative Speech
Students will watch a short video over the World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneers and/or search the internet for information on the new technology. Students will be given 10 minutes to do the research and then much present a 2-3 minute speech. Audience members will ask questions after the completion of the speech.

Rubric to evaluate student-created wikis. Group of 3 or 4, covers specific biology topic. A great wiki will be very user-friendly, simple in design, and educational to anyone! BASIC REQUIREMENTS: For your website to be graded, you must have the following: *The wikispace must have 12-15 outside source links. *At least 6 pages (not including the home page). *At least 3 videos embedded in the site. *At least 2 photos/images per page (total of 12 photos minimum). *At least 3 activities related to the content. *At least 3 spreadsheets or documents (embedded or linked) for reader to use or print. *1 embedded Keynote (or Voicethread) presentation about your topic. All group members must edit and contribute to the site. Each website must make the teacher a member.

You are the Teacher History Lesson
Teaching groups will select a topic related to Unit 5 in the textbook. Teaching groups will produce a lesson, complete with a visual presentation, a time line , an informative worksheet or notes and an assessment. Each group will present their lesson to the class.
