Speaking Rubric Assessment adapted from Splendid-Speaking

Students will create their own children's book and read it aloud to the class.

Include such things as culture,(currency, foods, famous landmarks, traditions and holidays and other interesting facts). You will also need to research the history of the country. Divide up the work with your partners to complete: Part 1 (RESEARCH & FORMAT) Part 2 Visuals (poster, travel brochure, PowerPoint, etc. titles in French!) - Include a map, flag, & capitol of your country. Part 3 Presentation - everyone in your group must participate in the presentation to the class

Students will write a script, using a template, then create a theater production based on the novel read in class, "Les Aventures de Jules Cousteau."

The presenter(s) will put together an electronic presentation to show during the oral presentation. The group's oral presentation must be aligned with the electronic presentation.

Students will be to identify prepositions in a sentence. They will also be able to determine prepositional phrases within the context of the sentences. Students will be able to critically evaluate the parts of a prepositional phrase.

In groups of 4-6 create a skit that takes place in a French restaurant. Students create a menu, use props to authenticate their script. Lines should be memorized. Students must use 20 vocabulary words from Pgs 154-155, 157-158 of Bon Voyage 1. Students must use irregular verbs, vouloir, prendre in the skit. Students must correctly use the partitive and idiomatic expressions with avoir: (J'ai faim, J'ai soif)

Students will create a "French video" that will be 5 to 7 minutes in length. A soap-opera, product, movie trailer, etc. The video must include each partner speaking 200 words of French. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video. The final script due 11/9/2011 the video is due 4/15/2012

Students will work in a group of three (following social distancing rules)! Each student will submit four photographs using the trick photography techniques seen in class.

Students will research the 12 Art terms and present a google slide to the class.

Students will work in groups and will create a "French Film" based on the novel "Récompense Promise-un million de dollars." that will be 4 to 5 minutes in length. All members of the team will contribute and participate in writing the script and acting in the film .
