Likes and dislike Poster Rubric
The students will create an online or physical poster showing the likes and dislikes of group members. There should be at least on like, one dislike, and one picture to go with each person in the group, including yourself.

You will be covering some of the topics from previous years creating review material for the class. You have about 3 classes period to draft and create a poster for this review activity. You will present your finished project to the class. The review material has to be in the form of a poster to allow its use as a reference all year long. Make sure to keep the activity/presentation simple and relevant to the content.

Spanish Role-Play Skit
Create a conversation between at least two characters where you describe what hurts and how you are feeling. NO online translator tools may be used for this project. You may use www.wordreference.com as a dictionary source. You will create, write, rehearse and present an original Spanish skit. Through doing so you will improve in the following areas: - Writing ability in Spanish - Speaking ability and fluency - Vocabulary acquisition - Use of patterns - Listening skills

Group Skit Presentation Rubric-Introductions
This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions. Famous Spanish/Latin American Artist Project
You will be assigned a famous Spanish or Latin American artist. You may choose a painter, a classical musician or a sculptor. Your artist can be from any period; gothic, baroque, renaissance or contemporary. You must research your artist and select a piece of particular interest to you. You will write three paragraphs. In paragraph 1, you will introduce your assigned artist and give a short biography. In paragraph 2, you will state the period in which the work was created and describe the traditional characteristics of the period. Also, what have critics said about your artist's style and technique? In the 3rd paragraph, you will express why you've selected this particular piece. For example, how did the piece make you feel? Does the piece speak to you? DO NOT USE TRANSLATORS! MUST BE TYPED! You may present your selection via sketch/drawing, painting, sculpture, or a rendition of your classical piece via recording or performance.
