Students will create a movie trailer based on a book. Their job is to think about what their targeted audience is and market the movie trailer to their tastes. They must capture the essence. It must also show your understanding of theme, not topic themes. Use ethos, pathos, and logos in your presentation.

Honors Poetry Portfolio: This project is the final assessment in the unit of Poetry. This is a two week task wherein students compile original poetry done in class showcasing the use of imagery, sound effects and rhyming, etc. Poems showcase various poetry styles learned, plus free verse poetry of the student.

Requirements include two minutes of video, music, archetypes analysis, rhetorical devices, and some editing. Posters must be 8 1/2 by 14 minimum and have color, and the rdio ad must be 45 seconds min. Student's creations MUST be relevant to the theme, archetypes, and author's choices of plays.
