They must include: 5 basic facts about themselves (ie - birthday, number of siblings, where they were born); 5 of their hobbies and/or dislikes; 5 goals that they have for the future. They must include 3 drawn pictures of themselves depicting any of the things discussed in their book (ie - a picture of themselves playing their favorite sport, a picture of themselves celebrating a holiday with their family, etc.)

Students will create a "I am thankful" turkey. There needs to be three reasons for why the student is thankful. Each feather will contain a different sentence; there will be three feathers in total.

Created a thanksgiving turkey with construction paper and a brown paper bag. Students were required to trace and cut out their hand print on construction paper to make feathers for the turkey. Next they had to trace and cut out a pattern of a turkey head, and glue them onto a brown paper bag stuffed with paper.
