Nutrient Poster
The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the their assigned nutrient. The poster should have areas that show the name and function of the nutrient. It should also include examples and pictures of food that contain the nutrient in addition to the food groups the specific food represents. This collaborative effort will be explained to the class and teacher.

Endangered Animals
The students will develop a shoebox sized diorama depicting their research animal in its habitat. The project will contain the following: Picture of, clay image of, or plastic toy of their animal.; Any plants or other animals from that habitat, and an accurate depiction of their assigned habitat. The student will orally explain the habitat and how their animal thrives in that habitat on the days following following them turning in project.
