Hairstyling and Blow dry techniques

Research a problem of your choice using peer reviewed sources. Submit one 5-7 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following APA guidelines. Include APA referencing format and abstract citing at least two (2) peer reviewed scholarly used researching this paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, document formatting, and references.

Student will demonstrate the wrapping and processing for a permanent wave service

Cosmetology

Using the waving lotion, waving comb, and manikin, the student will perform horizontal fingerwaving one 1/4 th of the manikin head. The student will perform at least 3 rows of fingerwaves according to Milady standard textbook and teacher standards.

Tweezing and Waxing

Student will be able to perform a basic pedicure with a foot and leg massage

Given the permanent waving supplies and tools, the student will demonstrate a basic wrapping and processing for a permanent wave service within 2 hours time frame

This rubric is designed to evaluate a completed drum brake job performed by post-secondary automotive technology students in an ASE/NATEF certified automotive program.
