Write a news article about a local event for a student newspaper. Write a headline and a subhead. Begin with a strong lead. The following guidelines are for use in evaluating a five-paragraph format essay.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Adapt speech to a variety of contexts and tasks demonstrating command of formal English when indicated or appropriate. This is the first in a series of speeches. This speech focuses on presentation basics such as posture, volume, clarity, content and preparedness.

Write a five paragraph essay utilizing five paragraph essay structure. Your essay should be typed and in MLA format. Attach this rubric to your essay

The student will take 25 pictures implementing the rules of photography and message of photography discussed in class. Five unique photos will be taken for each rule of photography, and five combining all the rules.
