EDUC 205 Classroom Design Project Rubric
The arrangement of a classroom adds to or detracts from a classroom's effectiveness. A teacher needs to decide what activities he wants to include in his daily schedule, what kind of arrangements he wants for his desks and how he wants the traffic flow to be managed. A classroom teacher who is innovative and creative needs to accommodate the activities he/she wants his/her students to become involved in without making his/her classroom feel cramped or uncomfortable.

Create a classroom layout that promotes learning and ensures student safety. Follow criteria from textbook, Domain 2: The Classroom Environment. Then develop a visual representation of classroom rules that is age appropriate.

Presentation Rubric Website/App
Students will create a Media/Technology presentation featuring an app/and or website that benefits the classroom (describe, explain, showcase) & then design an assignment or activity that they can implement the app/website. Include age/grade level, rationale, and how it would benefit your future classroom instruction. To present, use tools like: Web 2.0 tools, Prezi, Glogster, Google Slides, PowToon, Animoto, a movie software, etc.
