Using the rubric, each group will select 2 community diagnosis (problems) and discuss the plan. Students are expected to collaborate effectively to create the finished product using reliable and up to date resources to create an intervention that is usable in a community setting

Students will be researching an assigned drug category, develop and present a drug commercial via video to share with the class. Balance the expression of creativity and your knowledge of the topic. The sky is the limit on how you choose to execute this project, but do not lose sight of the intent.

Concept Map Rubric

The students will put together an healthcare presentation to show during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding communication issues in healthcare.The group oral presentation must be aligned with their electronic presentation.

The Presentation Team must present their research, as a group to the class. Each member of the group must speak. You will earn a grade that reflects the accuracy and detail of your research, and the quality of the presentation of your findings. Each student on the group will earn a group collaboration grade. The group collaboration grade will be based on how effectively you perform your role as a member of the group.

Reflections allow students the opportunity to think about their experiences and "get the learning out" of these experiences. Reflections are an important part of the feedback loop between the student and their teacher. Therefore, sharing the learning with the teacher in a timely manner, allows the teacher to offer formative guidance through timely responses to the reflection, which increases student learning.

Each student will work with a partner to research a health promotion and/or prevention topic and create a creative, interactive display illustrating the most current information on the topic and its importance for a healthy lifestyle. The exhibits will be displayed for staff and the general student population. Students will be present to discuss thier exhibits, educate and answer questions about thier topic. Tentative date is November 22 from 0830-1230. Students are expected to work cooperatively and collaborate effectively to create the finished product. Create a work plan together which outlines the work each will be responsible for. The amount and quality of each student's contribution, as well as each individual's knowledge of their topic will be considered in individual grades, however each pair will recieve the same grade for thier abilities to collaborate together and the final product presented.

Create a 10 minute group presentation on the assigned topic. May use Microsoft PowerPoint, a skit, video, or other multimedia presentation to cover the required information. Teamwork, creativity, and content will be evaluated. 100 points possible.
