President Report Card

In addition, you will need to assign a final grade to each category and explain the reason for issuing that grade. Visual presentation, grammar and spelling also accounts for your final grade.

Social Studies Current Events Rubric -- Mrs. Lucien
Purpose: In order to more successfully contribute to community and society at large, you should be current on The US Constitution, issues, controversies and events around it. Being an informed citizen and discussing current events will give you a better perspective on different points of view. You will examine what is happening right now around the US Constitution and try to make connections to the past, present, future, and ourselves. Each student will complete the assignment individually.

The rubric describes essential ingredients of how to reflect on and synthesize your learning from the Formative Assessment (mini)Inquiry assignment. Your response should: 1) Identify 2-3 KEY IDEAS or components of the topic learned from today's lesson. 2) Clearly introduce the focus of your synthesis/reflection. 3) Clearly discuss the 2-3 key ideas. Why they are important and provide enough detail. 4) Your discussion should demonstrate that you have reflected upon these key ideas.
