Students will create a word web using adjectives on a common theme, Martin Luther King Jr. Students will add an illustration that reflexs on the meaning "I Have a Dream".

Specific Expectation: Students will create a salt and flour map that includes one of the 13 colonies to show the relative positions of each colony by using salt, flour, and paint. Students will write summaries to indicate characteristics by using appropriate geographic features, important founder, and colonies purpose.
