You are to create a cruise brochure based on Ancient Egypt. This brochure should be creative and promote and grow the tourism industry in Egypt, Your brochure must include a comparison of ancient Egyptian civilization to their modern-day society. You have to use at least 3 credible sources.

Honors Poetry Portfolio: This project is the final assessment in the unit of Poetry. This is a two week task wherein students compile original poetry done in class showcasing the use of imagery, sound effects and rhyming. Poems showcase various poetry styles learned, plus free verse poetry of the student.

Create an outline for a short, persuasive essay. Choose one of two viewpoints: Doyle used the character of Sherlock Holmes to corroborate British society's fear of natives OR Doyle used Sherlock Holmes as a way of assuring British society there was nothing to fear from the natives. 1–2 pages in length, double spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, one inch margins, and citations in MLA style. Outline format to follow the example used in class with correct use of symbols and indentations.

Assume the role of an expert of the arts of the Harlem Renaissance. Create a Powerpoint presentation including no less than 10 slides.

The students will put together an electronic presentation to show during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding Life Span Project. The oral presentation must be aligned with their electronic presentation.

For use in rewriting boasts created before reading Beowulf. Students use gained knowledge in Anglo-Saxon Poetry to elevate their boasts in ways that would make Beowulf proud.
