Students use magazines to find different clothing, and make a clothing cube for 6 different types. Students write 2-5 sentences for each item.

Students list a minimum of ten interesting facts about themselves using proper Spanish, varying their sentences. Add artwork, photos, real objects, etc. to create visual interest.

Describe at least 6 family members who are of of different generations, who have different personalities, physical attributes and likes and dislikes. In addition state where your family members are from, what some of your your family members like to do, and their professions, if they have one. Use the verb GUSTAR with infinitives to express preferences and the presente tense of regular AR, ER, and IR ending verbs.

This project is centering around your vocabulary. You must create flash cards with a picture (DRAWN) on the card along with the word, definition and a sentence with the conjugated -ar verb in the present tense with all the subject pronouns except vosotros/vosotras. 1.2 Students understand and interpret written and spoken language on a variety of topics. 1.3 Students present information, concepts, and ideas to an audience of listeners or readers on a variety of topics.

Create a poster of 12 scenes of your daily routine to match at least 2 sentences. Scenes must be chronological with a drawing or clip art to match your sentences. Use reflexive verbs and recent vocab. Include: después de, antes de, luego, más tarde, rápidamente, and finalmente at least once. The scenes must be detailed, colorful, and creative. Sentences must be written in ink. Submit a Word copy. You will show that you understand reflexive verbs, and their usage and daily routine vocab.

Students will create flashcards using 3 x 5 index cards. Placing the word on the front and the definition on the back. All vocabulary words must be utilized when assigned.

Art projects without a specific rubric or other assessment criteria will be evaluated and graded using the following rubric.

Create a traditional craft from a Spanish-speaking country and create a video of an oral presentation telling about the craft you have chosen.

Create a traditional craft from a Spanish-speaking country and write a report telling about the craft.

Students will create Papel Picado for Dia de los Muertos.

The students learned about the tradition of the Hichol God's Eyes. The eyes are used so that God may see into the world and give protection to those in need.

Students will create an alebrije sculpture as part of their performance task assignment. In Spanish, students will present the "spirit animal" they have created explaining to the class what inspired it.

Students will use their basic skills to create a mola cloth

Students will create an arpillera based on traditional Chilean customs.

The students will create a Who Am I collage based on characteristics of themselves.
