Research and develop 5-7 slides on a Power Point presentation on skin disorder of your choice, including signs, symptoms, causes, and treatment. Include diagnostic procedures of the skin, and preventative measures against skin disorders. Make sure you include enough research material to meet the assignment criteria. Proper spelling and usage of lesson new vocabulary words (layers and structures of the skin) are important and will be assessed as part of the overall grade.

Rubric which outlines the advantages, disadvantages,and side effects of the conventional treatments of cancer.

This rubric is to grade student's research of a disease on the human body nervous system, describing the disease, the main organs or body parts involved and a major diseases or illnesses associated with that system. Groups will describe the changes of this body system due to a disease. Each group will give an oral presentation which includes all key facts about the system, be creatively displayed, A bibliography must be pasted onto the back of the board with at least one non-internet resource.

Students will build and analyze an electromagnetic device.

Students are to build a model of the human body organ that they have researched. They are to include all parts of the organ in their model design, neatly labeling each. They are to select appropriate materials for design that clearly show the major parts of the organ (different colors, materials etc.) exemplifying the organ's function and purpose.

Students design and produce wearable clothing or apparel item(s) from a recycled, reused or repurposed item using an obvious theme. The final presentation will be a "fashion" show with student write-ups describing their clothing, theme and their recyclables. Clothing may include: a hat, shoes, a top and a bottom (pants or skirt) or dress and an accessory item, such as belt, jewelry, gloves, leg warmers, glasses, etc. Items must hang on a hanger and be removable by the wearer.
