This rubric is to be used to write a reflective essay over the winter break. Reflection over how you internalize the information for yourself is expected to be reflected within the essay.

A rubric to provide students feedback on their professionalism scores as it relates to the following: - Following the uniform policy - Demonstrating preparation for class by brining hand written recipe cards - Communication Teams - communicating with teammates and the instructor regarding when he or she will not be in class

The Presentation Team must present their research, as a team, to the class. Each member of the presentation team must speak. You will earn a grade that reflects the accuracy and detail of your research, and the quality of the presentation of your findings. Each student on the presentation team will earn a team collaboration grade. The team collaboration grade will be based on how effectively you perform your role as a member of the team.

Utilized as an assessment tool to measure individual group member's ability to work as an effective member of a team in problem solving and teamwork initiatives.

Teamwork is behaviors under the control of individual team members (effort they put into team tasks, their manner of interacting with others on team, and the quantity and quality of contributions they make to team discussions.) Two characteristics define the ways in which this rubric is to be used. First, the rubric is meant to assess the teamwork of an individual student, not the team as a whole. Therefore, it is possible for a student to receive high ratings, even if the team as a whole is rather flawed. Similarly, a student could receive low ratings, even if the team as a whole works fairly well. Second, this rubric is designed to measure the quality of a process, rather than the quality of an end product. As a result, work samples or collections of work will need to include some evidence of the individual’s interactions within the team.
