Letter to Policy Maker
Write a Formal letter to either your state or federal legislator referring to your support or disapproval of your group’s policy. Your letter will voice one of the following: 1) your wish that the official policy-maker back the policy with votes that pass funding and development of supportive programs, 2) make suggestions regarding the use of funding and the development of specific and supportive programs, or 3) intelligently discuss why you disapprove of the policy.

Electronic presentation and oral presentation rubric
The students will put together a Google Slide presentation to present during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding science information researched on their species of choice. The oral presentation must be aligned with current research.

Presentation Rubric
Your presentation should represent a culmination of the information that you have gathered from your research on abolitonists. This is your time to shine and have fun with presenting your findings. In 15 minutes, you will present information on an abolitionist that is assigned to you and your group, using visual aids and the material from your research findings. Your presentation will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
