This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group on the community resources project, and should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions.

Must include print out of Resources for specified county, tabs to separate each section. See additional Handout for sections and required contents.

Develop a 2-3 page resource flyer of support services your community provides parents (prospective parents and new parents of infants. Write a 1-2 paragraph review of the resources identifying any needs/gaps in services.

The purpose is to understand the impact of the community setting upon the well-being of community members. The goals are to:1. Gain an awareness of the influence of the community and its resources on the health of the community; and 2. Continue to develop skills in observation and community assessment. For the purposes of this assignment, you will rely primarily on observation and information about your community and population that is available electronically.

This portfolio will be assessed for variety and validity of its resources to the subject matter, its layout and organization as well as its use of APA formatting in the appendix.

A written research paper of the selected disorder must be submitted on the date of the oral presentation.

Regular attendance and active class participation are expected from all students in this class. This rubric will be used to assess your performance in this area.
