Story board Novel Summary
Students will create a storyboard with 6-9 boxes summarizing their novel. They will place these events in order and will illustrate each one. For each box of their storyboard, they will include a description (3-5 sentences) about what event they are depicting and why they chose to add this part of the novel to their storyboard.

Novel Setting(s) Map
Students will reference their novel to create a detailed map of the settings. They will mark key events from the story in the appropriate sections of the map and provide a description of these events and their significance.

Character Interview Project
Students are to record a 60-Minutes-style interview with 3 or more characters from their novel discussing one or more major events that took place in the novel. Their job is to think about how the characters might have felt and reacted to the event. They must also consider the author's description and character traits for each character.

Students will create a timeline of 10 significant events in their novel. Theyu will place these events in order and will illustrate each one.

Students are to record 4 short vlog entries or write 4 journal entries from a main character's point of view based on one or more major events that took place in the novel they just read. Their job is to think about how the character might have felt and reacted to the event. They must also consider the author's description and character traits for the character.
