Human Organs Science project
This rubric is to grade student's research of a human organ, describing it's function, the other organs it interacts with, and how it aids in maintaining homeostasis. Each student will create a visual product using arts and crafts supplies, and give an oral presentation explaining their organ. The oral presentation will be by poem or song to teach the class about the organ. A bibliography must be included with at least one non-internet resouce.

Astronomy Project
Students are to do further research on a topic of their choice in the field of Astronomy. They can present their findings in any manner they wish as long as it is first approved by the teacher.

Food Web Project
Students will create a food web consisting of organisms found in a specific ecosytem that they choose. Each student must name the organisms, show the flow of energy in the food web, classify the organism as producer, consumer (primary, secondary, or tertiary), or decomposer, and identify two food chains from the food web.

Students are creating an animal. They will then design a poster to aid them in their oral presentation. The presentation should tell about where their animal should live, what their animal should eat, what their animal looks like, and any predators that their animals may have.
