Plants, Animals, Humans Flip Book
Students will label the front of each flip page; plants, animals, humans. Under the plants cover, students will explain the effect that their organism has on plants and how plants affect their organism. Under the animals and humans covers, students will explain the effect their organism has on each and vice versa. At the bottom of the page, students will include a drawing of their plant/animal.

Food Web Feeding Frenzy
Students will create a food web for their plant or animal. The web will begin with the Sun and arrows will show the flow of energy. Students will then write a paragraph explaining the food web, and another paragraph describing how changes in the ecosystem would affect the food web.

Habitat and Animal Welcome
Students will draw and label a picture of their chosen plant or animal’s habitat. They will also identify and add the physical characteristics of the region the organism lives. Then the students will write an expository essay from the plant/animal’s perspective. The essay should include; -- the Texas region the subject can be found -- a description of the region -- why the subject thrives in the region -- 2 fun facts about the subject
