Students will create an itinerary for a vacation in Rome. The itinerary must include the major historical sites, for each site there must be a detailed description using the adjectives and the information we learned in class. Student will describe a famous Italian person and his or her life. Student will create a power-point with a partner. For each slide student must write four sentence or more sentences incorporating adjectives and using the verb "avere" and "essere".

Students will be able to write a pen-pal letter in which they will be able to talk about the school, the classes he/she is taking this year and which ones he/she likes/dislikes and why. Also to include greetings, some specifics about where he/she goes after school and conclude by describing a new friend made, then say goodbye.

You will create a powerpoint in Italian that describes your family members. This could be your actual family or a made up family. You will include information such as where they are from , what they like to do , what they don't like to do, their age , how you and the person are related, complete sentences of two activities that they do, and one that they don't do. Make sure to include adjectives that describe them. You will include an image for each slide. You will present to the class.

Choose a Famous person from the list provided. Research the person and write a 1 page (single spaced) or 2.5 (double-spaced) report on your findings along with a separate page that tells me where you found all information. (at least 3 sources not including Wikapeadia) You will present the major information you learned about this person to the class and include at least 1 visual aid.

(20 POINTS - 4 points each section) The following rubric will be used at the end of each calendar week to assess your efforts to participate in class and communicate in the target language.

Your 12 scenes must be detailed, colorful, and show effort. The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate your understanding and ability to use and conjugate verbs, as well as telling time

Students are to write a paragraph about themselves in Italian using their knowledge of Italian vocabulary and grammar.

The students are to present a specific period in Italian History

You have been chosen to create a "virtual brochure" to advertise the school to other students who are interested in attending Baldwin High School. You are asked to give them an insider's view. The focus of this project is to show what Italian words and sentence forms have been learned and can be used to describe a school. Please remember that use of web translators is a violation of the Academic Honesty Policy.

THIS PROJECT IS WORTH 100 POINTS. CREATE A REAL OR FICTIONAL FAMILY TREE. IT MUST INCLUDE 8-10 FAMILY MEMBERS. EACH FAMILY MEMBER SHOULD BE REPRESENTED BY A PICTURE AND SHOULD BE LABELED BY THEIR NAME AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO 1 KEY PERSON IN THE FAMILY.
