Photoshop I Grading Rubric
Photoshop skills assessment. Students will photoshop a photo they have taken following the guidelines for yearbook photography and write a detailed explanation of their actions.

Adobe Photoshop Semester Final Project
Project Specifications 1. Design a 2.5 x 7 inch canvas (bookmark shape) using all the tools you learned in Chs. 1 - 4. Evidence of a minimum of 10 tools learned/used in the design. 2. Complete the layout in Photoshop. 3. Create a storyboard prior to designing in Photoshop. (Plan your design.) 4. Retouch, enhance, and manipulate your design using Photoshop tools. 4. Upload the layered (not flattened) Photoshop file to Canvas as a .PDF. 5. SAVE the document to your folder.

Elements of Art
After the Elements of Art unity you will be asked to be to name all the elements of art as well as know, describe, and demonstrate examples. In this assessment students will work on demonstrating the Elements and Principles by drawing and using materials in the classroom. While students are working they will be called up one by one and be asked to name and give examples of each element and principle.
