Animal Habitats
The students will develop a shoebox sized diorama depicting their research animal in its habitat. The project will contain the following: Picture of, clay image of, or plastic toy of their animal.; Any plants or other animals from that habitat, and an accurate depiction of their assigned habitat. The student will orally explain the habitat and how their animal thrives in that habitat on the days following following them turning in project.

Animals Interacting With Life
Students will choose 2 animals to research, one land animal and one aquatic animal. Preferably the animals be endangered or at risk of endangerment. Students will conduct research about the animal's life before and after human involvement with their habitats. Tell how the animal’s lives are different before any human interaction with their habitat.

Animal Habitat Presentation
This rubric is used to assess a project based learning on creating an animals habitat. The project will be presented and include : a written journal with information on the animals living in this habitat, the habitat itself, and an accurate illustration of their habitat in a shoe box or other sort of setting. The student will orally present and explain the habitat, where it is located, the animals and what they do to survive.
