World Language Reading Comprehension
Students are given a reading assignment and they have to be able to answer questions in the target language related to the reading. This assignment will not only assess reading comprehension in another language, but also assess grammar and vocabulary acquisition.

Students are required to lead a class and ask comprehension questions during/after class readings. Student will lead class discussion, answer peer questions, and create a kahoot for final comprehension check

B2+ Speaking Assessment
High Intermediate (weak) responds to basic questions in simple tenses only, using memorized phrases. Frequent and lengthy hesitation. High Intermediate (average) asks and responds to basic questions using simple tenses using an emerging variety of vocabulary and idiomatic expression. Noticeable hesitation, but no lengthy pauses. High Intermediate (strong) Speaks in a variety of tenses. Can manipulate language to express a thought. Answer and ask complex questions. Infrequent hesitation
