What an Adaptation!
Rubric for evaluating project where paired students will research, list/purpose both physical and behavioral adaptations for an assigned animal currently existing (poster 1). Digital Storytelling Presentation Rubric
This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Digital Storytelling presentation project. This rubric can be used with any tool from PowerPoints to Sway and Prezis. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the Digital Storytelling presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your project and purpose have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Book Trailer Project
Students are to create a movie trailer for their Lit. Circle book. The book should engage viewers and make the viewers WANT to read the book. Requirements include 1-3 minutes of video, music, titles, and some editing. Student's video MUST be relevant to the book.

Novel: Chapter Summary
Students will read weekly chapter assignments and complete a five to seven sentence summary for each chapter. Each paragraph will include the main idea and supporting details for each chapter read. The goal of this rubric is to obtain a better understanding of how to write a great summary and locate the main idea within a chapter, while using background knowledge (BK) and textual clues (TC) to identify unknown or current vocabulary words.
