This rubric is used for evaluating Op Art artwork

Students will create a landscape/creative composition using the artist Georges Seurat style of pointillism.

A rubric that properly evaluates the artistic process of using pencils as an artistic medium. It measures the various phases and approaches that are necessary in the assessment of a project or a work of art.

Students will create a picture of an animal using only geometric shaped cutouts. They will break down the complex organic shape of any animal into simpler geometric shapes. Students will also learn how to use line to contour the geometric shapes that they created their animals out of.

This rubric is meant to help guide you in the creation of your Google Slideshow - 'Same, but Different'. Each category in the far left column represents a part of the project that you will need to consider in regards to your effort and the quality of what you produce. Read the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the slideshow, to ensure that all the required parts of your presentation have been included and all other criteria have been met.

Students will research a famous artist and create a slideshow presentation about the artist and their famous works of art.

This rubric evaluates the artistic process and research information of an artist. The student will research the life of an artist, create a slideshow presentation about that artist's life and design a piece of artwork related to that artist using mediums of their choice. The student will present their artists information as if they were the artist themselves in an informative professional manner.
