The students will identify each of the five senses by pointing to it and briefly explain what each sense is for. Example: The student will point to their eyes and say that our eyes are used to see the world around us.

Students need to learn what foods are in each food group and why we need to eat a variety of food groups. The students may struggle with understanding why we need to eat from a variety of groups because it is the first time they are hearing it.

After the book has been read, students will identify feelings that were in the book, give examples of different feelings, and make a real world scenario. Students will be able to identify feeling vocabulary words. Students will be able to explain different types of feelings using examples from the book. Students will be able to create a play demonstrating the feelings in real world scenarios
