The menu should be visually pleasing with easily identifiable headings, prices, and pictures.

Endangered Animals
Each student will develop a presentation in German about an endangered animal. In Powerpoint or similar, they will describe the animal, where it lives, what the animal eats, population of that animal and tendency from the past and in the future, interesting facts about the animal, like its habits, etc. In addition to the presentation, students must submit a written report. It should be the last slide of their presentation.

Student must create a travel poster for a destination of choice and suggest an itinerary with flight information, lodging information, currency and exchange rate, location and description,and typical foods. Students will research an inventor and create a visual representation to present to class. Students will write a 300 word on the inventor.

Deutsch II Kapitel 9 Map Project
For this project, you will create a map of a German city. The city must include 8 landmarks, and street names must be realistic German street names. (For instance, Travisstraße is okay, but Easy Street is not. Last name streets are acceptable, but limit yourself to your group or German historical figures.) Streets must be navigable by the German toy cars provided by Frau Travis. For the verbal component of this project, you will give directions around your city to a tourist. The tourist will drive a car on your city map, and follow your directions. Your directions must be entirely in German and include the direction words learned in this chapter as well as verbs in the command form. 50 points possible.
