This is a rubric for the McGee's Genetic Disorder wiki.

Students are to research their particular cell type or organelle that they chose from the list of items provided by Ms McGee. Students research their topic by using the internet or any other resources they can find. They are to develop a large-scale diagram of their cell or organelle for placement in the 6th/7th Grade Hallway. They must have labels and a typed summary of their item. Their goal is to provide information on their item which teaches othrs in the school about their product. This is a shcoolwide competition. Let the competition begin!

Students are to research the hybrid vehicle technology provided by Ms McGee. They may further research this technology using the internet or any other resources they can find. They are to design a hybrid vehicle that they will try to sell to Ms McGee by creating a tri-fold brochure that captures her interest. Knowing that Ms McGee understands cars and is a tough sell when it comes to this technology, you should provide graphical representations on the mechanics of the car and a set of technical specifications that will surely impress her. Of course, a reasonable price tag is always attractive as well as a variety of options such as an electric sunroof, various stereo packages, power accessories and a good variety of exterior/interior colors. Don't forget leather upholstery as an option! How fast can she go from 0 to 60 mph? Good luck!
