Advertisement/Political Poster
Students will create an advertisement or political poster using persuasive details and emotional appeals, and effective advertising techniques; complete with logo, slogan, and word choice. Students also will provide a reflection, stating their advertisement analysis and how the product came to be.

Master Abstraction Using the Grid Method
Students take a section of Master artwork and create abstraction using the Grid method. Included - two page essay describing the piece they chose, why they chose it and how they intended to execute the work. This will include the original artist's name, title of work, date, a brief biography of the artist and a detailed description of the piece, which can include: technique,color brushstroke,emphasis It's Uniqueness - sets it apart of those of same period.

Copying a Classic PAssignment
Using color theory and the fundamentals of design, students created a replica of a known artist's work. Specific drawing and coloring techniques, art mediums and concepts were implemented to achieve desired intentions. Students develop artistic skills, confidence and craftsmanship in the execution of these processes. Students also should demonstrate initiative, originality, commitment to the project and openness in their ability to critically think in the creation of their work.
